This is a follow-up photo to my 04/11/2024 Monarch Adult Sighted report. This is another of the female monarchs seen today. She is laying an egg on a fresh milkweed (Asclepias viridis). Her wings are faded and a bit tattered, but she was very active in her egg-laying.
