I spotted my first female ruby-throat today. She was visiting one of my feeders and the male, who has been my only hummer until now, drove her off. Later they were taking turns. For some reason, although I have three feeders in the front yard, on the deck, and outside the kitchen window, the two hummers prefer the kitchen one. I haven't seen any activity at the other two yet.
