Our first male arrived this morning around 9 AM. He hovered in front of my daughter’s window, looking in at her as she was working. Luckily she looked up in time to see him! I believe this is two days earlier than the last two years, so roughly the same time. We had one feeder that we maintained year-round because the titmice and chickadees were so fond of it. Put up a second feeder at the end of March because the hummingbirds were on the move. My daughter ran down and put up the remaining two this morning after our visitor arrived. He fed from at least the first two, coming back repeatedly while we were watching. We’ll see if he’s back tomorrow. I hope so. He definitely seems familiar with our house and the feeders.
