Pretty sure we saw an adult monarch flitting around in our backyard. It was certainly a large orange butterfly. My husband saw it too, and we were both so startled that neither one of us attempted to get the camera with the Zoom lens. But it was gone in a flash anyway. I guess I should check my milkweed for eggs!!
