First Gray Catbird of the season showed up at my mealworm dish, but was discouraged by the presence of a robin who gobbled all the worms available. This is likely a returnee who knows about the live mealworms from last summer. The catbirds were afraid to approach the dish to eat worms when I first offered them two years ago, but last summer they got brave enough to come and eat.
