Hummingbird, Ruby-throated (FIRST)

Date: 05/02/2024

Number: 1

Saw the first male zipping along in and out of the Forsythia that was blooming. I hurried up and put a feeder out but didn't get a male feeding at it until 05/05/24. I guess there was plenty of nectar left on all the Spring flowers that were blooming or he just didn't notice the bright red feeder until then. But he's on it all the time now.
