This is the first Monarch I have seen this year. It landed only for a few seconds on the milkweed. I have at least 6 plants in that flowerbed - only two of them are medium size - the rest still small. It never seemed to settle down. I don’t know if it came back and laid eggs. There is a lot of milkweed now in our area in SE Kansasnext to the roads and out on the land.
