Our first milkweeds for this year showed up this past week.  The photo on the left shows a common milkweed plant.  The photo on the right shows several recently sprouted butterfly weed plants.  As of yet, none of our swamp milkweed plants have made an appearance.

At about 5:45 PM EDT, when I took these photos, the air temperature was 73°F, the dew point was 52°F, the humidity was 47%, and there was a light 8 mph breeze from the South with the air pressure being steady at 28.67 inches under fair skies.
