Reported by Don Davis and reported to this writer by email and also posted to Nature NB list: June LeBlanc from St. Martins, New Brunswick, spotted a monarch today checking out her milkweed patch. Jane has a nice patch of Common and a garden planting of Swamp milkweeds on their property that usually produce a number of Monarchs each summer. St. Martins is about 30 kilometers northeast along the Bay of Fundy coast from Saint John.
