5th instar caterpillars leaving milkweed patch after being raised protected by netting. The ones I could keep track of traveled south from the milkweed until they reached a rock wall with lots of crevices. They traveled in and out of the crevices until I eventually did not see them anymore. I assume they will pupate there, hanging from rocks in crevices of the stone wall.
