June 2, 2024 - found this tiny monarch fluttering in the wet morning grass. Smallest monarch I have ever seen. Wings are becoming translucent. This is my first sighting this year, which is earlier than usual for my area. It's wings are soaked my plan is to keep it safe while it dries to see if it can fly.
