Found few eggs (3) the day before.
Was home on front porch for lunch and saw Monarch checking out the narrowleaf milkweed. I thought it might have laid a couple of eggs but when I looked I did not find. So cannot say sex, unless you can zoom in on the video.

Warm day heading to the high 80’s, very sunny, not windy.

Found a few more eggs Thurday, so perhaps she or another female had returned.

Yard has showy milkweed jiust starting to bloom, south facing slope. Narrowleaf also, and a specimen of tuberosa and asperula.
