This is one of 15 chrysalis I have found in the yard. I have patches of narrowleaf and Asclepius tuberosa. First spotted caterpillars on 6/3/24 and the first chrysalis on 6/10/24. 3 of the chrysalis are on the Butterly Bush. (The butterflies love that bush)!
On 6/19/24, I saw a monarch butterfly in the yard...the first in awhile. And found 2 eggs on one of the narrowleaf.
It's such a joy when they emerge!
