About a month ago we reported our first milkweed plant observations for 2024.

Since then, many more milkweed plants have appeared in the various garden areas around our house.  Some now are already a couple of feet high or more with buds visible.  Several of these can be seen in the included photgraph.  Granted, some are bit difficult to distinguish amidst the various green plants surrounding them.

Nonetheless, here is what is displayed in each of the photos:

At about 3:40 PM EDT, when I took these photos, the air temperature was 71°F, the dew point was 37°F, the humidity was 29%, and there was a light 7 mph breeze from the Northwest with the air pressure being steady at 28.85 inches under fair skies.

Now, all we have to do is wait for the Monarch butterflies to arrive.
