Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)
Sightings report image

Date: 06/19/2024

Number: 1

Arrived in the morning flitting from one milkweed to another. She laid 4 eggs. Her colouring was very faded. I believe she was off spring from the ones we set free in the fall so happy to be able to help save her eggs. we cut the stem of leaves that has the eggs! put them in a mesh shelter and leave it outside for the monarch to go through its 4 stages. They’re so many bug, spiders and stink bugs around that it’s the only way for them to survive.
