This is beautiful Monarch habitat. I was excited to see 3 and hoping to see many more there soon. I’ve monitored this habitat for 4 years and if I remember right we usually see our first ones about the end of June.
Thistle was just starting to bloom. There was also wild rose and showy milkweed. The flowering plants were sparse compared to what they will be next month.
