Battling the wind, the old lady was trying to lay an egg on my Common milkweed in the front garden, then fluttering over to the Lamium, Catmint blossoms and onto the white blossoms on the Mock Orange bush. Almost all her wing scales were worn off, with nearly all colour gone. She's coming into the home stretch of her life cycle, I'm sure. No eggs were discovered!!
