It was at my stand of showy milkweed , left into another yard then returned to my other stand of common milkweed . Very “skittish” as I slowly approached to snap photo. I’ve had my milkweed for a good five years or so. First monarch I’ve ever seen in there or in my neighborhood. I am beyond excited! Sorry I couldn’t get good identifying image.
