I purchased a giant milkweed plant from Homestead, Florida. It arrived with 3 monarch caterpillar eggs. I raised them in a large butterfly house. 2 chrysalis not make it. One chrysalis emerged yesterday. Today I released a healthy female. She happily flew out and landed on top of a tall pine tree. I also have 4 giant yellowtail pupas that I am raising. You can see it in the photo.
