Sightings report image

Date: 06/30/2024

Number: 1

Since Thursday last, she has spent her days alternating between resting on the foliage, supping nectar, then supping minerals from the copious amount of river stone in the garden, and then egg bombing my Swamp milkweed - mostly on the pink incarnata. The way I figure it, because of the state of her wings, it's physically taxing to fly, so seeing as she has everything she wants in the garden, she intends living out her remaining time with us. I collected a further 5 of her eggs already this morning!!
