Monarch was moving around backyard for an hour or so, mostly in the milkweed/butterfly bush patch. I could not get close enough to get a photo, but by using binoculars it appeared to be a female. It did not seem to be nectaring much, only stopped a couple of times & appeared to be resting, not having landed on a flower. No eggs found on milkweed.
