First Monarch of the year at my location. She was busy checking out the milkweed and getting competition from bees. She may have laid eggs, but not sure. Time ca 10:20 am, sunny, temp ca 78F, 1-2 mph breeze. This appearance is ca 1 month earlier than last year for a female Monarch. Hopefully more activity in 2024 than in 2023.
