Sightings report image

Date: 07/02/2024

Hello Journey North, We are wet, wet, wet! Five and a quarter inches of rain since yesterday afternoon. There was a turkey valture sitting in a tree looking very forlorn this morning. There hasn't been much of migration this spring.I do have hummingbirds. There are the usual suburban birds. What I've noticed is a lack of insects. A couple of monarchs,a few honey bees, and some cabbage whites. Hopefully July will be better. Thought it might cheer you up to see that people still plant gladiolas. My the birdwatching force be with you.
