After a slow start, with only a few eggs spotted in Grosse Pointe since June, we’re now starting to see more Monarch activity. I checked a small patch of milkweed in one of our city’s garden beds and counted six eggs on new growth, on Asclepias syriaca. We’re also starting to see more adult Monarchs in our area too.
