Hello Journey North, look at these beauties! Goldfinchs and chickadees have been checking them out. Hummingbirds seem to be enjoying the gladiolus. Had a black swallowtail stop and lay eggs all over the giant dill. First one I've seen this summer. Went to the farmer's market and picked up more native plants. Pitcher sage, feverfew and perineal verbena. Catbird has just come for a drink and a bath. It's mate just showed up. There are house sparrows and house finches over at the feeder. There is also an abundance of bunnies, from tiny bunnies to adult bunnies. Seeing more honeybees. Summer is going by so fast. It's warm and humid here but storms are coming. Probably have to wait several more days before I can get in to weed my gardens. Mr. And Mrs. Cardinal showed up , come for the sunflower seeds. For all who read these posts get out there and grow a beautiful garden it's good for your mind, body, and soul.
