Saw a female monarch in my yard. She was very weathered. She stayed in my yard for several hours depositing eggs and nectaring on the 3 types of milkweed in my yard (common, swamp and swamp ice ballet) she deposited eggs on each variety. It was so wonderful to see her gliding so happily through my yard that I wait all year for!
