One monarch eclosed yesterday (1 of 2) and today has been flying around yard all day, nectaring on swamp milkweed and tall garden phlox.
I purchased 12 swamp milkweed plants for 2024, since they bloom after my common milkweed. One in bloom now and others not yet. So this works out great for my late butterfly start.
