Monarch Larva (FIRST sighted)
Sightings report image

Date: 07/15/2024

Number: 1

I have a Monarch garden and many native plants and milkweed species. I first sighted a Monarch butterfly June 1 when my milkweed was in full bloom but this is the first evidence I have of egg laying going on. I’ve seen no other eggs or larvae and I have over 100 milkweeds of various species. I did see a female monarch today visiting many plants and I think depositing eggs. Will check tomorrow.
