There has been much less ruby-throat activity this year compared to previous ones. By now activity at the feeders would have increased with lots of squabbling over rights and sugar water consumption would have been up, but that has not been the case. Today I finally saw two hummers squabble over one of the feeders, one chasing the other off and doing a display afterward.
