Field of 250 swamp milkweed I n to first week of bloom. Where most of country is into pod stage. Our higher elevation lags us a month behind. This year so far, monarchs are non-existent. So sad. But we'll catch the southern flow hopefully. Butterfly bush, zinnia, echinachea, rudabeckia, and other nectar sources for their trip home.
