Temp was very hot and dry. About 98 degrees at dusk. Lots of swamp mw, blue vervain, queen Anne’s lace were blooming and the Joe Pye was getting a good start.
The land was a bit mushy and the natural water springs had produced tall vegetation of all kinds. Along with massive grasshoppers.
