Apologies for the blurry photo. This fresh looking male stopped ever so briefly on two separate plants to open his wings to the sun before flying off in directional flight, directly southwest. (Although I didn’t file a report, last weekend at Port Credit Yacht Club in Mississauga, I observed both on Saturday and Sunday, 2 Monarchs each day in directional southwesterly flight.)
I would also like to note that I looked for the larva that I observed yesterday, it was nowhere to be found. However, the two eggs are still there. This may be my last report from this location until Monday. Weather conditions at time of observation according to the app on my phone are: sunny with the temperature of 21°C, winds out of the north northwest at 3 km/h with gusts up to 10 km/h, humidity at 63% with a dewpoint of 14°C, barometric pressure steady at 102 kPa
