eggs laid past three days by a female who stayed close.
all times of day, mostly sunny, temps 70 - high 90s.
Pollinator garden and waystation. trees and shrub shade, wall on west sheltering, butterfly bushes popular.
eggs on narrowleaf and showy milkweed only of five species.
eggs on young soft and low leaves.
male patrolled yesterday pm, but no adults yet seen today.
spent 30 min looking through milkweed this am but did not notice any larvae.
