I have been watching the activity at this feeder the last few days. This has to be a juvenile Ruby hummingbird. The reason I say that is it didn’t know what perches were. It hovered over the feeder and dived it. It tried landing on it slippery slope. He gave up and landed at another feeder less complicated perch I suppose.
