Looked for an hour in this prairie area. 11am. Found 7 eggs on common milkweed. Lots of compass plants in bloom. Mountain mint, flea bane, purple cone flowers, yellow cone flowers , black eyed Susan, whorled milkweed in bloom, and much more . Saw 2 viceroy. No adult monarchs or larvae . Sunny day . Not much wind . 81 degrees .
