photo is of one monarch female I saw both sunning (earlier in morning) and just hanging out (midday before a storm came through). I think perhaps freshly eclosed.
There was another monarch female zipping around the yard a few times (yes I saw them both at the same time) during the day and laying eggs.
I didn’t take any egg photos today, but I noticed several new ones in the usual places - young separate sprouts. I collected a fdwe the dogs might crush when wrestling and will give them away.
