My wife spotted our first Monarch Butterfly for 2024 fluttering about some of our Common Milkweeds. Unfortunately, it flew away before I could get my camera, or we could determine its gender.
At the time (~3:00 PM) the air temperature was 77°F, the dew point was 52°F, the humidity was 41%, the wind was light and variable, under partly cloudy skies with the air pressure at 28.80 inches and dropping slightly.
