I have seen a monarch butterfly every day for the past 10 days. It cruises around my milkweed, sometimes with another monarch, but usually alone. It is there from morning to evening. I have 10 milkweed plants in the area, but no eggs have been deposited yet. It flies right up to me and my husband , then drifts away. It is the most engaging insect I have ever seen!
