I saw a female flying around my yard and landing on the tops of milkweeds. She appeared to be looking to lay eggs, as she would bounce off leaves briefly tasting the leaves with her feet. She didn’t seem to like the milkweeds near my house and fluttered away. I wasn’t able to find any eggs on the milkweeds she touched.
