The monarchs have been very sparse this year. Usually see one a day this week. I bike almost daily in the metro Milwaukee area and will spot one a day fluttering by. I haven’t seen them but once feeding and that was on a potted Lantana in my yard. I have a number of common milkweed with no eggs lately.I collected 4 eggs early June but typically see way more.I also have a a 1/4 acre native prairie so lots of chances of sightings. I planted purple verbena which they love to feed on so we’ll see how this year goes.
