From 2:45 - 3:45 - one female flying around the butterfly garden flowers only, stopping frequently to nectar on Tithonia or rest on broad leaves of Tithonia and once on common milkweed - resting with wings closed.
My usual smaller male flew in, they circled each other and he flew off.

At 4:00 I was out watering plants and when I sprayed some water on low laying plants a mating couple flew up from the ground - he was hanging onto her flying as she was under him.
