Very unusual year for me. Have not seen many monarchs compared to usual. We have had milkweed growing on our property for the past 4-5 years and this is the first time I have not had any eggs or caterpillars by this point in the summer. I usually have eggs by mid July. I actually have not noticed any at our property which has been disheartening. Will see what August is like. Just wanted to report what I’ve found so far for summer 2024.
