Saw 1 Monarch flying in a wooded area near my Asclepias sullivantii bed. I immediately walked to my tall wildflower bed and observed 2 Monarchs in the area nectaring on Rudbeckia subtomentosa, Rudbeckia hirta and Asclepias incarnata (see picture).
One was a female but could not ID the sex of the other 2. Did not observe any egg laying.
