a bright adult flitted through yard west to east at 1239 hrs. we did not see this monarch nectar at flowers, yet the gardens have large oxeye daisy, three varieties of bergamot, liatris, cleome, coreopsis, zinnia, balloon flower, cucumber, winter and zucchini squashes, sedum, oregano, and cardinal flower blooming. only 12 stems of common milkweed available for egg laying this yard.
