Monarch Egg Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 08/03/2024

Number: 8

Eggs on potted tropical milkweed in yard, which I overwintered from last year.
I was trying to keep this monarch away, as these plants were covered with orange aphids and I wanted her to go to other areas of the yard where better plants are. I could not stop her, she was insistent. I ended up cleaning off the aphids all around the eggs and on all leaves.
