Monarch Larva Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 08/06/2024

Number: 12

Hello Journey North. We had a bad storm last Wednesday, knocked out power all over the city. Heat index 110*. Dry cold front came through last night. Still people without power but at least they are not turning into baked potatoes. Went out to water my gardens and found monarch caterpillars all over the swamp milkweed. What a lovely surprise! Between the heat and the storm, don't know how they made it through.
