Sighted an all brown, young hummingbird at 6:45 pm. 97 degrees! Nectared from Hamelias, Rythom and Blues, Black and Blue, 'Amigo ', Blue Swede shoes. All shaded under an umbrella bc here we go... 101 for three days to come.

A male Western tanager came in to drink from birdbath earlier that was a total surprise. I guess migration is starting for other species early. Or getting away from the Debby hurricane still going on in east Carolina's (maybe.) Orioles should come back in soon if Tanagers are.
