Keep sering a light color one flying up quick into river birch tree briefly for 2 days now. Too hot for them in 118 heat index, so tree hiding goes on. We had 3 serious temperature warnings that was awful, that of heat, air quality on 8/9/24. Really concerning for hummingbirds.

My daughter saw 4 hummingbirds fighting at a feeder in Marble Falls Texas from 9, 10,11/24 weekend getaway. This is what the B&B owner relayed to her:
"She said all of their feeders are the same. They see mostly Black chins & Ruby throats, but got one Rufus last September(2023) that stayed for 2 weeks after all the others left."
