Ruby Throated Hummers had been fairly steady at 15-20 birds at 3 feeders for several weeks. But this overcast slightly rainy day, there was a midmorning jump of birds to 50+ mobbing the feeders. This lasted about 1/2 hour and then the numbers dropped back to their usual numbers. They are consuming over 2 qts of sugar water per day.
