This little lady had a rough day after eclosing on 08/14/2024. She folded the leading edge of her left wing on her initial mesh enclosure activity. She was a little rambunctious and there was a tree branch in the enclosure which she got caught on. I did a small dab of glue on the leading edge and she was finally able to fly, albeit a little erratic on flight patterns. She then independently went to the 14.3% honey solution and drank repeatedly for 30 minutes, rested there, drank some more and then flew well enough to release. Happy to report that she went straight up to an unopened 2” bud on the tulip poplar! After 10 minutes there, she went on her way southward. Little Miracle.
